The Doonbeg River provides excellent fishing for salmon and sea trout. It is well known that from the Doonbeg River someone caught a 32 pound salmon, and this is no fisherman's yarn.

The nearby Cree River is also popular for fishing. Shore anglers can avail of the breath taking cliff scenery at Baltard, Killard and Rhynagonnaght and deep-sea angling is also available.

Fishing trips can be arranged by us. If you do like fish, but don't like catching them yourself, there is always the opportunity to buy fresh fish and seafood from the local fishermen at Doonbeg Pier.
